HAIR CHURCH was created from a critical need to address the epidemic proportions of hair loss primarily in Afro-curly hair textures. As Hair Care Professionals and Tricologists we do not suggest or practice damaging hair techniques for the sake of style. We do not condone using harsh chemicals, color, and constant high levels of heat.
Afro-curly hair has the capacity to become long, maintain necessary levels of moisturization, and can become quite manageable when we become more knowledgeable about it, and when we stop abusing it. 

The driving force of HAIR CHURCH is to eliminate the use and dependency of destructive hair practices through re-education seminars. The science behind these eye-opening symposiums is backed by experienced hair scientists through facts and real research spanning over a half-century. 

HAIR CHURCH is derived from a fervid force to reclaim the power of Afro-curly hair, change the perspective of Black hair care, and deliver the message that green is the new color of beauty. 

IN SUMMARY:
To all my curly and coily headed Sisters. We have to begin and continue to change our mind-set about the myths and stigmas of our hair. Stop believing the companies, who tell us how to manage our hair, but do not have our hair, and wouldn’t know the first thing to do with it. The destruction of our beauty standards were destroyed because we thought we had to live up to the standards of others.
